A patch has been conducted today.
Please check below for details.
1. Hero Categorization
(1) Summary
- Every Hero will be categorized into one of these three; [Boss Battle], [Infinite Dungeon], and [Arena]
- Special Skill (New) will be given to each Hero
- Previous skill balance will be changed
- Crit. Hit Defense will be differently applied
(2) Special Skill
- Every Hero will obtain 1 Special Skill
- Special Skill will be activated in certain contents only
- Boss Battle Special Skill
① Dealer: [Personal Skill] 50% of damage increase on Boss
② Buffer: [Team Skill] 25% of damage increase on Boss from team
(Ivy, Claire, Deckard, Zarax)
- Infinite Dungeon Special Skill
① Dealer: [Personal Skill] 10% of ATK increase for every 10 waves (100% at maximum)
② Buffer: [Personal Skill] 5% of ATK increase for every 10 waves (50% at maximum)
(Linon, Aida, Jeed, Nerphym)
- Arena Special Skill
① Dealer/Buffer: [Personal Skill] Crit. Hit Defense +1000
(3) Crit. Hit Defense Changed
[Before]
- It decreased Crit. Hit Damage by percentage(%) (Ex: Crit. Hit Defense 50%)
- Ex) Crit. Hit Defense 50% = Damage decrease by half
[After Update]
- It won't be used as percentage(%), but will be used as absolute value (Ex: Crit. Hit 1000)
(4) Hero Categorization and Skill Changes
- An additional notice on the details will be posted since it contains long text
2. Boss Battle
(1) Summary
- New 'Hard' difficulty has been added
(Previous Boss Battle will be Normal difficulty)
- Hard difficulty will be available after clearing all Normal difficulty stages
- [Hard stage 1] will be open when users clear [Normal stage 1]
- [Hard stage n] will be open when users clear [Normal stage n] + [Hard n-1 stage]
(Ex: Hard stage 10 will be open when users clear Normal stage 10 + Hard stage 9)
- Only stage 1 will be open unless users clear higher stages
- [Before] After clearing stages, users couldn't clear the same stage again
- [After Update] Users can clear Hard difficulty stages again after clearing them
(2) Hard Difficulty Stages
- Hard difficulty stage 1 will be = (as difficult as) Normal difficulty stage 60
- 1 battle will be made of 2 Waves (Boss 1 for the 1st Wave / Boss 2 for the 2nd Wave)
- 6 Heroes will carry out the battle (Just like Raid, 6 Heroes will be divided into Team A and Team B)
- Team A (3 heroes) will battle with Boss 1, and Team B with Boss 2 (Team A will be replaced with team B when Boss 1 is cleared)
3. Infinite Dungeon
(1) Summary
- Hard difficulty has been added
- Users whose Player Level is higher than 35 and whose last week's ranking (in Normal difficulty) is from 1st to 3rd place will be promoted to Hard difficulty
(2) Hard Difficulty Stages
- 6 Heroes will carry out the battle (Just like Raid, 6 Heroes will be divided into Team A and Team B)
- Team A will start with 60 seconds from Wave 1
- Whenever Team A passes Waves, Bonus Time will be given
- If HP of all 3 Heroes become 0 or time ends, Team B will replace Team A
- When Team B replaces Team A, Team B will have [60 secs] + [20% of time Team A has received during battle]
- According to the number of Waves Team A has passed, ATK, DEF, HP and skill effects of Team B will be increased
4. Team Attack & Recommended Attack
(1) Shooting Mode & Arena Mode
- Team Attack calculation formula has been changed
- Different formulas will be used to calculate Team Attacks in Arena Mode and Shooting Mode
5. Events
(1) Hero Transformation Event
- Period: After 2016/08/01 update ~ 08/07 24:00 (GMT+9)
- Purpose: To compensate for inconvenience resulting from Hero balance patch and Special Skill update
- Deleted Hero Transformation will be available once again during the event period
- Normal Hero and Rare Hero can be Transformed (Limited Rare Hero cannot be Transformed)
- Ultimate-Awakened Heroes can be Transformed (Awaken status will remain after Transformation)
- Supreme-Awakened Heroes can be Transformed (The price will be the same as a 5-time-Awakened Hero)
- The price has been decreased by 50%
- The price will get higher according to the number of times it's been Awakened
- At the first day of the event, 6★ Rare Hero Selection Transform Ticket will be distributed to every user
- Price
Normal Hero = 100 Rubies + (The number of Awakening X50 Rubies) (Ex: If a Hero is Awakened 2 times, it will take 200 Rubies to Transform the Hero)
Rare Hero = 200 Rubies + (The number of Awakening X100 Rubies) (Ex: If a Hero is Awakened 5 times, it will take 700 Rubies to Transform the Hero)
- Previous number of Transformation before deletion of Transformation will be counted
(Ex: If a user Transformed 6★ Abel two times before, the record will remain and it will start from the 3rd Transformation in this event)
(2) Raid Reward X2
- Period: After 2016/08/01 update ~ 08/07 23:59 (GMT+9)
(3) Rune Engrave 50% Discount Event
- Period: After 2016/08/01 update ~ 08/07 23:59 (GMT+9)
- The amount of ingredients needed for Rune Engrave will be decreased by 50%
(4) Arena Friendly Battle Event
- Period: 2016 08/06 00:00 ~ 08/11 23:59 (GMT+9)
- Users will be matched with teams which developers prepared for Arena Friendly Battle
- Rewards will be given according to the team and the number of win

1 Win = 2,000 Gold / 5 Wins = Wing X40 / 10 Wins = Premium Hero Draw Ticket X1
Chaotic Forces (Normal)
1 Win = 4,000 Gold / 5 Wins = Wing X90 / 10 Wins = Premium Hero Draw Ticket X2

6. Hero Draw Festival
(1) Limited Rare Hero - Hanabi
- Period: After 2016/08/01 update ~ 08/05 23:59 (GMT+9)
- During the event period, Hanabi will be obtainable through Hero Draw Tickets. (Drop rate will be increased as well)
(2) Limited Rare Hero - Nash
- Period: 2016/08/06 00:00 ~ 08/08 23:59 (GMT+9)
- During the event period, Nash will be obtainable through Hero Draw Tickets. (Drop rate will be increased as well)
(3) Rare Hero - Miho
- Period: 2016/08/09 00:00 ~ 08/11 23/59 (GMT+9)
- During the event period, Miho will be obtainable through Hero Draw Tickets. (Drop rate will be increased as well)
7. Character Combination Effect
- With Setsuka, users can get doubled amount of Points in Hanabi Descent Dungeon
- 3 kinds of new Rare Hero Team Bonuses including [Setsuka & Hanabi] have been added

- Attack Formation
[Before] 2 Heroes in front row / 4 Heroes in back row
[After Update] 3 Heroes in front row / 3 Heroes in back row
Front row: Chance to evade 20% (When the Formation level is 20)
Back row: Chance to evade 10% (When the Formation level is 20)
- Raid Formation
Front row: HP 40% → 100%
Back row: Agility 20% → 30%
9. Descent Dungeon
- Season 2 will start from 8/1 and last until 8/14 24:00 (GMT+9)
- Dungeon List
- 5★ Dungeon: Hanabi (Hanabi will be immune to any skill which increases damage on the Boss)
- 4★ Dungeon: Hina (Abilities of Heroes who are not Water or Wood Attribute will be decreased by 50%)
Carsiana ("Tower of Light" will be activated which attacks any non-Pendragon Heroes)
- 3★ Dungeon: Bella (ATK Speed of Heroes who are not Fire or Water Attribute will be decreased by 50%)
- 2★ Dungeon: Asura (Heroes who are not Dark or Light Attribute will be Cursed and won't be able to block it)
Elin (Heroes who are not Dark or Light Attribute will be Electrocuted for every 10 secs and won't be able to block it)
- 1★ Dungeon: Scalain (Heroes who are not Dark or Light Attribute will be Cursed and won't be able to block it)
# Descent Dungeon balance has been changed
- Points needed to get Rewards will be increased, but it will be easier to clear Descent Dungeon
10. New Costumes
- 2 new costumes for Carlyle and Elin have been added
11. Promotion
(1) Hero Ultimate Scroll Package
- Period: After 2016/08/01 update ~ 2016/08/07 23:59 (GMT+9)
- Ruby X 1,820 + Hero Ultimate Scroll Package X1
- Can be purchased up to 3 times per account
12. Other Changes and Bugs
(1) Hero Fusion
- A bug in which users couldn't scroll Heroes all the way to left and right at Hero selection screen after Fusion has been fixed
(2) Selena Costume
- A small glitch with Selena's Costume animation has been fixed
(3) Skill Description
- Wrong skill descriptions of Lexion and Nash have been corrected
(4) Hero Shot Point
- The size of shot point has been reduced to 60% (easier to evade attacks)
(5) Raid Time
- Raid will be available 1 hour longer than before (Before: 3 hours → After update: 4 hours)
(6) New Story Quests Added
- Singular Story: Setsuka (3)
- Connected Story: Hanabi + Cain, Hanabi + Setsuka
